A Keith from Alaska  stopped by and grilled fish with an amazing marinade.  This was as close as I could come to repeating his recipe.  Many years ago he loaned us his float house on the Gasteau Sound.  We had a crab pot off the back end of the house and we fished from the front of the house. Not a bad week.

Alaskan Amber Glazed Salmon

1/4 cup Alaska Amber
4 TB butter
2 TB honey
2 TB brown sugar
1 TB lemon juice
1 TB soy sauce
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp lemon pepper

2 lbs salmon

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Boil over medium high heat. Reduce slightly. Coat fish with glaze then grill or broil. Watch closely to prevent burning.
